Hornby Digital Sound Decoders DCC TTS with Speakers – R8108 Tornado AI

Each decoder provides a pre-recorded set of sounds specific to a type of steam or diesel / diesel electric loco. Decoders are not limited to use in those locos however, you can fit them in any loco that has a suitable 8 pin socket and space for the speaker – just choose a decoder from a similar size and class of loco to get a good approximation of sound.
All decoders feature a standard motor drive function, so replace the standard loco decoder that you would otherwise use. They can also be used to replace Hornby and Bachmann’s factory fitted 8 pin decoders – just check you have room for the speaker.
IMPORTANT – The decoder does not support sound under DC (analogue) operation. Sounds can only be played under DCC (digital) operation. This applies to all sounds, both running and spot sounds. The locomotive’s motor may be controlled under DC operation.

Goods for Europe normally take approx. 7 working days, but may at times take longer than expected which depends on the Postal Services.
If you need the goods to be sent by Registered Tracked Mail, please choose Tracked Mail.
Heavy items are automatically sent by Registered Tracked Mail. If however you order say more than 2 Pcs, and the amount is high, please choose Tracked Mail.
Kindly also note that if you decide to return the item, please make sure that the outer box has not been damaged in any way while you were opening it.
You understand that we cannot accept returned new goods with damaged boxes. So please be careful how to open delicate items, especially if the item/s are a Collector’s item.
For using DCC Decoders, Please DO NOT handle Chips direct with your fingers as you may short the chip with possible static. Use an Arm band to discharge any static.
